Pasta is a fundamental
ingredient in the daily diet,

in all cultures and on all tables
in the world.

Here's why
to choose it:

ico
The quality of pasta is recognized by the uniform color, amber yellow, without shading. A smooth surface after cooking and a sensation on the palate of pleasant resistance to chewing. A pleasant aroma that blends well with different condiments.
ico
Pasta, a fundamental part of the Mediterranean diet but not only, is recognized all over the world as an energetic and light ingredient. It has a low glycemic index and provides a good source of energy.
ico
The consumption of pasta in the world is increasing more and more. From Europe to Africa, from Latin America to the United States, it is the food that brings all cultures together, being a multifaceted ingredient that adapts to various tastes
ico
The industrial process for the production of dry pasta is extremely simple, requiring the use of only two basic raw materials, semolina and water. This is why pasta can be considered a food truly eco-sustainable.
ico
#pastayourway is the concept of conviviality between various cultures: to make known the various ways of preparing pasta in the world.

7

tips
to save

by cooking pasta

ico
Choose a large pot, pour a sufficient amount of water inside, but not too much. This will save you time to boil it. Cover the pot with a lid to reduce cooking times.
ico
Avoid preheating the oven. Do not open it frequently during cooking and turn it off a few minutes before the end: you will make the most of the heat generated.
ico
Read on the package the recommended times for a correct cooking of the pasta. Longer times would mean unnecessary waste of gas or electricity.
ico
To cut or chop vegetables, or grate cheese, use non-electric tools. You will thus save energy and be more eco-sustainable.
ico
Add salt only when the water begins to boil. Salt, in fact, tends to slow down the heating process and therefore the boiling of liquids.
ico
Do not throw away the pasta you don’t eat. The leftovers from the day before can turn into a delicious flan or a fantastic timbale.
ico
Turn off the heat halfway through cooking. Covering the still boiling water with a lid, the pasta will continue to cook even when the heat is off.
ico
Starting from January 2022 we have added a very important element that demonstrates and confirms our strong sensitivity to the environment by purchasing renewable energy.
